Partners Dave Baker and Steve Knight established the firm in 2004 with the intention of creating a personalized real estate practice that would grow to meet the demands of the market, yet never outgrow a founding philosophy for meeting the uniquely individual concerns of each client. “Together, they bring a dynamic and diverse range of resources to the firm, including their considerable accomplishments and discerning ethics, in the marketing, purchase,and sale of residential real estate.” Beyond their extensive knowledge in the residential home market, the partners also bring successful investment and commercial real estate experience, which allows them to assist and advise their clients in all types of real estate holdings. Steve Knight, Broker Partner
Steve Knight has been active in the California Real Estate market for over 20 years. He has an extensive knowledge in both Residential and Commercial Real Estate. He is currently the co-owner and Broker of The Prestige Realty Group, located in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. He has personally purchased and sold over $7,500,000 in real estate for his portfolio. He has also worked directly with clients on hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate transactions. Steve revels in finding and creating value add opportunities for his clients.
Prior to his real estate career, Dr. Knight founded The Knight Chiropractic Wellness Center in Encinitas, CA. He practiced as Clinic Director for 10 years in a thriving practice from 1987 until his retirement in 1998. Dr. Knight still enjoys many long lasting friendships with former patients. Steve also spent 7 years prior to his practice as a journeyman carpenter and builder of homes. His knowledge of all phases of construction has served his real estate clients well.
Steve enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Rhonda and their three children, at their home in Olivenhain. Interests include writing and playing music, golfing, gardening and all forms of exercise.
Dave Baker, Broker Partner
Dave Baker has been a successful California real estate broker for over 12 years. He has transacted many millions of dollars of residential and income producing properties.
Prior to entering the real estate industry, Dave spent over 25 years in various executive positions with high tech firms such as NCR, Fujitsu and Open Text. He was the primary business negotiator in over $250 million dollars of hardware & software contracts with companies like Frito-Lay, Pepsi-Cola, U.S. Bank and Bank One. Dave now brings this vast business experience and keen negotiating skills into every real estate transaction. He and The Prestige Realty team consistently deliver the best bottom line price, terms & conditions to match each client’s specific needs.
Dave enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Jill, and their blended family of five sons and a daughter. Interests include golf, running, cycling and gourmet cooking.
